Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident in Strawberry Lane at 5.30pm on Thursday.
An altercation took place between a motorist and the marshal who was controlling traffic.
The driver sped through a road closure barrier, with the woman being dragged along for a few metres before falling into the road.
A dark coloured Audi left the scene.
