Warning over rise in sight problems

More than 35 thousand people are currently living with some form of sight loss in Devon ... with that figure expected to rise to 43 thousand in the next 3 years.


Health experts say the rise is due to an ageing population, along with other factors such as increasing levels of obesity.

The cost to Devon's health services and is expected to rise to nearly 90 million pounds.
