A meeting in Exeter this evening marks the start of a public consultation on further cuts to public services across Devon.
The county council says it has to reduce spending by 50 million pounds in the next financial year and is warning that difficult decisions will need to be made.
The ruling Conservatives say no decisions have been made yet and they will listen to the views of local residents.
But Opposition councillors say they didn't listen to concerns over the closures of care homes and youth centres - and have accused them of being on a mission to privatise services.
