Witnesses needed for both
It's been a busy few days for Devon's police.
A suspected drunk driver has been arrested after hitting a woman on Dartmouth Road, Paignton on Tuesday night (20 May 2024).
The force said a local woman in her 30s was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with life-changing injuries.
Later that night officers were called near the B3417 between Plympton and Lee Moor to another incident.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene, and another man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Both cases are appealing for witnesses, phone 101 if you know anything.
