Several bus routes threatened with the axe by Devon county council are to be retained.
They include the evening bus from Exeter city centre to Pennsylvania, the full157 Exmouth to Sidmouth service, and the evening Exeter to Crediton service.
A daily shopping-time service from Exeter to Topsham will be kept too.
However a small number of bus services in this area will still be cut including the 82 service between Exeter and Tavistock.
