Police are hunting a cowardly thief who mugged an elderly woman for her handbag in Exeter over the weekend.
The victim, who walks with a stick, was attacked on the path between St Thomas Pleasure Ground and Buller Road between 8 and 9 yesterday morning.
She was left needing hospital treatment.
The robber is described as white, 6ft tall, medium build wearing a black top and jeans - he's believed to have had his face covered.
