Exeter's Deaf Academy is to hold talks with the organisation using part Exmouth's Rolle College - following the news that the Academy has bought the whole site and plans to move in.
The news that owners Plymouth University had sold the college came as a shock to Rolle Exmouth Limited and the district council.
The Owen Building at Rolle is already being used by local businesses and arts groups.
But the Deaf Academy's Chief Executive Jonathan Farnhill says he's keen to meet REL, hear about their amibtions for the site, and work together to find a way forward.
