Surfers help Exeter scientists

Surfers are being used by Exeter based scientists to combat one of the greatest health threats facing humanity - antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

They're volunteering to be swabbed for an investigation, because of the amount of time they spend in potentially germ-infested water.

Scientist Anne Leonard from the University of Exeter's Medical school says bacteria are present in Britain's coastal waters.
