Spate of GPS theft from tractors

Police say they all happened this month in East and Mid-Devon.

Devon and Cornwall Police are urging farmers to review their security, note serial numbers and mark machinery, after a number of GPS systems were stolen from tractors.

The first incident took place overnight on Wednesday 4th December 2019 where two Starfire GPS systems were stolen in Crediton.

Then overnight on Saturday 7th December 2019,  four more Starfire GPS systems were stolen from Budleigh Salterton and Ottery St Mary.

Officers are advising farmers to report any suspicious activity on 999 and if possible make a note of vehicle registrations and persons seen.
If you have any information or offered a GPS system please phone 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime CR/110481/19.
