Nearly four and a half thousand cannabis plants were seized by police in Devon and Cornwall last year.
The number in Exeter and East Devon was 710.
The figures were released after a request to police by Radio Exe following news that a cannabis farm had been discovered in Dunkeswell earlier this month.
Police were called to an industrial unit after receiving reports of suspicious activity and discovered a substantial hydroponic set-up.
In 2013 a huge cannabis growing operation was found in a business unit in Exmouth - with around 300 plants valued at around 200 thousand pounds.
And in the latest raid yesterday, more than 60 plants were found at a property in Budleigh.
