Plans to use car park as a bus station

Exeter's dilapidated bus station, to be rebuilt

here's a chance to find out more later about plans to create a temporary bus station in an Exeter car park. The city council's looking at using The Triangle while the existing bus station is rebuilt.

It's going to take about two years to redevelop the bus station site in Paris Street and during that time a new departure and arrival area needs to be created, for both the local buses and the National Express coaches.
Under the council's proposals this could be set up in the Triangle car park, not far away, off Heavitree Road.
An open evening's being held from 7pm for local residents and businesses to ask questions and put forward their views and concerns.
However the council says nothing's been decided yet - the scheme would have to get planning permission and be subject to assessments of noise impact and air pollution.
