A Devon school has sent a letter to parents, upset at a proposed new Government funding formula which will leave them worse off.
The Queen Elizabeth Academy in Crediton says that in Devon pupils already get nearly £290 less per child a year than the national average.
After Government was lobbied for change, it is claimed that the new funding formula they have come up with will leave two thirds of schools in Devon even worse off.
Rupert Poole, the Principal of QE Academy in Crediton, says the money they get will be cut by a further £80,000 under the new scheme.
