MP says Exeter's getting a raw deal over libraries

The MP for Exeter has expressed concern about Devon County Council's plans to stop funding a number of libraries.

They're proposing to retain 22 libraries in the main towns and combine them with other services.

Those will be in places including Exmouth, Honiton, Tiverton, Crediton and Dawlish.

But smaller ones including those in Ottery, Budleigh and St Thomas in Exeter, will have to be taken over by local residents.
