"Many unanswered questions" - crime commissioner

WATCH: Victim support offered in Keyham

Devon and Cornwall's police and crime commissioner says the community in Keyham in shock.

Alison Herandez's office has set up a support service near the scene of Thursday's shooting in which five people were murdered before the killer shot himself.

The mother of gunman Jake Davison, Maxine, was the first of his victims.

Ms Hernandez says there are many unanswered questions, including why the killer was licensed by the police to carry a firearm.

it is understood permission for Mr Davison's to have a gun was withdrawn after concerns about his behaviour, but it was returned last month.

On Thursday night, he went on the rampage around the streets where he lived. A three-year-old girl and her father out for a walk were among his victims.

The investigation continues.

This interview with Alison Hernandez is by Victoria Graham at BBC Spotlight.
