Suspect charged with attempted murder
A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the neck and face in Ilfracombe.
Police were called to the high street between Spin Studio 20 and Jhoots Pharmacy just before 7 pm on Tuesday 10 September after reports of an altercation involving a group of men.
A man in his 50s from the town has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife in a public place.
He is next due to appear at Exeter Crown Court on 10 October.
Police are appealing for witnesses and any footage of the incident.
