Man runs marathon in garden

Sunbathing isn't for everyone

Whilst many of us were sunbathing (not something we normally get the pleasure of doing in early April), this Devonian ran an incredible 34-mile ultra marathon in his back garden.

During lockdown, it's important to keep active. Running a marathon at home might not tick the box for some - but for Grahame Shaddick, from Plymouth, it's top of the list.

The determined Exeter Chiefs fan spent nine hours circling laps around his back garden - all for a good cause, as he raised vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

Seeking some motivation, Mr Shaddick blasted out Exeter Chiefs' famous 'Tomahawk Chop' theme - and wore a Chiefs headdress - as he took on the mammoth challenge in style. Watch 20 seconds of his ultra marathon in the short video above.
