Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a road traffic collision on the A38 southbound at Chudleigh on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old male driver of the silver Ford Focus, from Saltash, suffered serious head injuries following a collision with a tree and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for more than ten hours while investigation's were carried out.
The driver’s family have been informed.
