Man attacked in Exeter city centre

He's punched in two assaults

A man has been attacked twice in the early hours of the morning - firstly near an Exeter nightclub and then later a half mile or so away.

A group of men queuing to enter The Vaults nightclub, in Gandy Street reportedly became abusive between sometime after midnight on Monday 1 November. 

They then punched a nearby man n the face iin an unprovoked attacked.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was later set upon by the same group in Fore Street, where he was repeatedly punched and kicked. He sustained facial injuries and needed hospital treatment.

Police have only just revealed details of both incidents which took place between midnight and 2am.
