Library design changes made public

Exeter residents will be able to view the latest design changes to be made to the city’s central library during the multi-million pound redevelopment in a series of drop in sessions taking place from today.

The 1960s building has been handed over to a construction company which will carry out the four million pound redevelopment and modernisation.

Hoardings have been put up around the site, which has been empty for months, and work has already begun on safely removing asbestos from the building.

The drop in sessions that are being held for members of the public are taking place at the temporary library on Castle Street this month.
