Duchess of Cambridge visits SailGP in Plymouth
The biggest sporting event in the UK ended on Sunday with a visit from the Duchess of Cambridge.
Whilst her husband had to make do with the Women's Euro Football finals at Wembley, Kate took to Plymouth Sound on the final day of the Great Britain Sail Grand Prix.
She enjoyed a view of the Devon coast from the British boat that beat New Zealand in a friendly race in Plymouth earlier.
Catherine is royal patron of the 1851 Trust, the official charity of the Great Britain SailGP team which helps children aged 11-16 gain experience of careers in science, technology and engineering..
The future queen wore a wetsuit as appeared alongside Olympian Sir Ben Ainslie and the British racing team on their F50 high-speed foiling catamaran.
SailGP moves on now to other locations around the globe and is not yet scheduled to return to the UK.
