    Information needed about Torquay arsons

    Multiple blazes last weekend

    Information about a possible arsonist who set multiple fires overnight last Saturday is being sought by police.

    They're appealing for people to get in touch who may have details about the blazes that took place in in the town between 2.30  a.m. and 4a.m. in the areas of Upton Road, Avoca Avenue and Lymington Road. Several sheds were set on fir. A tumble dryer and fridge which were outside flats on Tor Vale were also attacked.

    An 18-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and released on police bail until 4 December, pending further enquiries.

    Anyone with information, who saw any suspicious activity in those areas, or has any CCTV footage which could help, is asked to contact police on 101 or via email at 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime reference CR/093978/20.
