The Environment Agency has warned residents to be prepared
A number of flood alerts are in place in Devon, as heavy rain hits the county.
They include the Rivers Clyst and Culm and their tributaries, along with the South Devon Coast.
The Environment Agency warns flooding is possible and for residents to be prepared.
In a statement they added: "People are advised to stay away from risk areas and take care next to the coast. We will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates as required."
For the Rivers Clyst and Culm, the agency said: "Another band of frontal rain will cross the region through Thursday, and this could lead to further flooding of low lying land and roads."
