He became ill on pleasure boat
A fisherman has been rescued off the Exmouth coast.
The town's all-weather lifeboat went to help the 54-year-old on Tuesday morning.
He was on board a pleasure fishing boat when he became so ill that emergency assistance was needed.
The launch was authorised by Deputy Launch Authority, Rob Anderson.
It took less than half an hour before RNLI volunteers reached the vessel, where they were able to give first aid before getting the casualty into the lifeboat and return to Exmouth Marina. The man was transferred by land ambulance to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital, Exeter.
