Exeter special needs school overwhelmed with offers of support

Hundreds of people have contacted an Exeter special needs school after vandals killed and mutilated animals there last week.

Staff at Exeter's Ellen Tinkham school say they have been overwhelmed by the public response to the incident, many of whom have offered sympathy, money or replacement pets.

Four chickens were killed at the school for children with special needs last week and some rabbits and guinea pigs were stolen.
