The five year old Exeter girl who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer nearly a year ago, has died.
Billie Bainbridge had undergone pioneering treatment in America, but at the beginning of last month a scan showed that her brain stem tumour had grown and her condition deteriorated.
She died peacefully at home with her family.
Much of her expensive treatment was paid for by donations to the Billie Butterfly fund, and mum Terri told Radio Exe a few months ago how the response from local people had been overwhelming
