A closure order has been served on an Exeter house reportedly being used as a base for drug dealing.
Police had received a series of complaints from neighbours about overt selling of drugs, needles being found in the street and general anti-social behaviour.
Officers presented their evidence about the house in Chaucer Grove to magistrates yesterday.
For the last five months they'd been receiving complaints from members of the public about drug deals taking place in the area up to 30 times a day.
There were reports of fights over drug debts and increased traffic and noise from waiting buyers.
Magistrates ordered the house to be boarded up and granted an order banning the tenants and landlord from the premises.
