Exeter Cathedral's Christmas Market returns 15 November
Exeter Cathedral's Christmas Market returns to the city’s Cathedral Green.
This year’s Christmas Market, is running from 15 November to 15 December, and will be the biggest yet. It with have more than a hundred of the familiar festive chalets. The 2024 Market has been extended into the cathedral’s historic Cloister Garden, where visitors will be able to browse offerings from a range of independent businesses as part of a new ‘pop-up’ traders area, from Thursday to Sunday each week.
Throughout the Christmas Market, West Country businesses will showcase unique gifts, local produce and handmade seasonal decorations. The popular ‘Global Street Food Village’ will return with cuisine from across the world, including Khana Nepali Street Food, Greek cuisine from The Big Greek Feed, vegan and vegetarian delights from Bun. There will also be two festive bars on Cathedral Green, operated by award-winning event bar specialists, Bar Nova.
Throughout the month-long event, Exeter Cathedral itself – an ancient Devon landmark dating back to 1050 – will be joining in the festive spirit by dropping its standard sightseeing admission fee in return for a voluntary donation.

Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market runs from Friday 15 November – Sunday 15 December 2024. Opening times will be 10am-7pm Monday to Wednesday, 10am-9pm Thursday to Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sundays.
