Devon County Council has welcomed the Inspector's report on the Devon Waste Plan.
According to the report, there needs to be some minor alterations to the plan, but it is a sound and appropriate basis for waste planning for the county until 2031.
The aim is for the region's waste to be managed more sustainably through reduced waste creation, increased recycling, and additional facilities to generate energy from waste.
