Commissioner 'sympathetic' to student campaign

The Police and Crime Commissioner says he's sympathetic to the Exeter University students who're worried about plans to turn off streetlights in the city.

Tony Hogg has had a meeting with the Guild of Students who're campaigning against the county council's cost-cutting move, saying it'll make everyone much more vulnerable to attacks by criminals.

He says he understands that many students have to be out late at night and are concerned about their safety.
