Charity says routine eye checks can save lives

A Honiton woman's raising awareness of the medical conditions that can be diagnosed early through eye tests.


Leanne Greengrass set up the charity See the Truth after her mother had a potentially dangerous tumour detected during a routine check at her optician.

She says the tests can find symptoms of diabetes, mini strokes and eye cancers, but many people don't bother to have them.
