A five thousand pound grant from Devon and Cornwall's police and crime commissioner will be used to help prevent sex offenders re-offending.
It's going to the organisartion Circles South West which provides them with mentors, and offers them emotional support and practical help with things like housing and benefits.
Sex offenders are often very isolated when they leave prison and this can make re-offending more likely.
The funding will pay for the training of more volunteers, who want to keep their communities safer.
