Water quality at East Devon's beaches has been given a clean bill of health by the Marine Conservation Society.
Those in Exmouth and Dawlish all attained the highest grading of 'recommended', and none in this area failed to meet the required standard.
The water quality tests, carried out last summer, found low levels of pollution, largely because of the dry weather, as heavy rainfall tends to wash agricultural waste and sewage into the sea.
But the Marine Conservation Society says the winter storms this year shouldn't affect this summer's tests
