Carlisle football club have banned a 16 year old supporter after the smoke grenade incident at Exeter City on Saturday.
The teenager was arrested after the device caused a fire scare and led to the match being halted and fans evacuated on to the pitch.
Carlisle say the use of pyrotechnics in a stadium is irresponsible and potentially extremely dangerous - and they want to send out the message that this behaviour will not be tolerated.
