Armed police and paramedics sent this morning.
Police were called to an address in Paynsford Road, Newton Abbot, at around 9am following reports of a fight involving several people.
Firearms units and paramedics were sent to the scene.
One man inside the property had has sustained a stab wound to the head and another man suffered a head injury.
The injured men, both aged 25, were treated by paramedics and their injuries are not currently thought to be life-threatening.
Three men and a woman have been arrested and taken into police custody in connection with the incident.
A 33-year-old man from Torquay has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH with intent and false imprisonment.
A 21-year-old man from Newton Abbot has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH with intent.
An 18-year-old man from Newton Abbot has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH.
A 42-year-old woman from Newton Abbot has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH and false imprisonment.
All remain in police custody.
Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are continuing.
