Devon business up for national award

Earth Friendly Foodware shortlisted for Great British & Northern Ireland Entrepreneur Awards

Finalist in Entrepreneurial Spirit Category of Great British & Northern Irish Entrepreneur Awards 2019

Westward Ho! based Earth Friendly Foodware today announces its selection in the South West final of the Great British Entrepreneurial Awards 2019 having been selected for the Entrepreneurial Spirit category.

Founded in 2013, the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards acknowledges the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses in the United Kingdom. The South West Awards recognises businesses from Gloucester to Poole and across the remainder of the South West. Category winners of the regional finals will go forward to the national awards later this year. The Entrepreneurial Spirit Award celebrates an entrepreneur who leads the way for their business, a strong work ethic with ability to take action, has a hunger for opportunity and a willingness to find solutions to challenges and problems.

“We are thrilled to be selected,” stated Andrew Cross, Founder, Earth Friendly Foodware. “With the business now operating on three fronts, this recognises the success we have had so far.”

Earth Friendly Foodware operates three businesses. Earth Friendly Foodware, a compostable food and drink packaging supplier to the trade; Refuse & ReUse, a manufacturer of reusable homeware products and North Devon Soap, a manufacturer of 100% natural soap to the wedding and retail gift markets.
