Cafe Volunteers needed to help raise vital funds for The Fire Fighters Charity
The Fire Fighters Charity is recruiting volunteers to work at their newly refurbished café, The Stables at Harcombe House – it’s your chance to make a difference, meet people, and learn new and new skills.
Harcombe House is located in the middle of Dartmoor National Park, surrounded by 320 acres of scenic views which offers a one-of-a-kind environment for the charity’s beneficiaries, guests and the public.
A significant element is the charity’s exciting new venture, The Stables café - a converted 100-year-old barn with spectacular views, large capacity, and the perfect place to enjoy locally produced food and drink.
Volunteering for a few hours each week makes a real difference, and you’ll get to work with colleagues to provide professional hospitality to beneficiaries and customers in a busy and fast-paced environment.
The Stables is a converted 100-year-old rustic barn with a variety of local food and drink on offer.
You’ll be part of a hard-working team that will provide a professional and hospitable hospitality service in a warm and welcoming environment and help to raise vital funds to support the UK’s fire community service.
The experience will be highly rewarding as you give back to those who have saved lives. It’s an excellent opportunity to support and become involved in one of the most vital public services: fire and rescue.
Whether you're a Volunteer or not you will receive comprehensive induction and training to support you in the role. If you’re friendly, approachable, and happy to work with food and drink, they love to hear from you.
The Fire Fighters Charity supports active and retired fire and rescue service personnel, their dependents, and other eligible members of the UK fire services community, helping them to live happier and healthier lives.
