You’re invited to come and visit Mid Devon District Council’s marquee at the 25th Mid Devon Show on Saturday 28 July.
This year they will be promoting:
- Pre-school, aqua-tot swimming lessons
- GP referral programme
- Health living – offering blood pressure, weight and BMI testing
- Shape up for summer campaign
- Garden waste recycling
- Half price green cone composters
- Recycling awareness
There will be kids’ colouring competitions – with a host of swimming related prizes and a prize draw to win an aluminium watering can planted up with wild flowers.
Councillor Colin Slade, Lowman ward member and Cabinet Member for Community Well Being, said: “This year’s 25th anniversary show is set to be an exciting day for all of the family. We are really looking forward to seeing everybody at our marquee and hope that the weather stays on our side. The council’s marquee will be manned by our Street Scene and Leisure teams; we will be offering visitor’s information on recycling and on how to stay healthy this summer.”
