FREE weekly yoga sessions in Exeter

Park Yoga is an exciting project providing people with FREE outdoor yoga sessions across the UK - including two weekly sessions in Exeter.  

The sessions run throughout the summer from May to September for people of all ages and abilities. All sessions are held on Sunday mornings. 

The aim of these sessions, led by local instructors, is to encourage people to take part in activities outdoors which are good for their health and wellbeing. View the two Exeter locations here: 

Exeter: Cowick Barton Playing Fields (9.00am – 10.00am every Sunday from 30th June to 1st September)


Cowick Barton instructor: Penny

Penny rediscovered yoga a few years ago enjoying the benefits of Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa especially. Her 500 hour Teaching Diploma is with the Devon School of Yoga and the founder Duncan Hulin. Penny also experienced Acroyoga for the first time two years ago and fell in love with the practice, intensive training is essential to teach Acroyoga so she enrolled with Acroyoga.Org earlier this year gained her full qualification in early 2018.

Penny constantly enriches and develops her practice and teaching by attending various training events across Europe with innovative, highly respected teachers.

Exeter: Heavitree Pleasure Grounds (10am – 11am every Sunday from 2nd June to 1st September).

For Tina, yoga is a container to explore, understand, and analyse yourself and this wonderful world we live in. It is a set of practices; asana (physical practice), pranayama (breath) meditation and philosophy to live an intelligent life of freedom, strength and connectivity. It is a continuous practice, of finding your way, being perceptive and staying connected to nature and others.

Tina is trained in vinyasa flow, hatha, embodied flow, yin, mindfulness, meditation and aerial yoga.
