To honour the 80th anniversary of VE Day The Exmouth Museum and Heritage Centre together with the Exmouth Salvation Army will be hosting a Fish and Chips luncheon. The street style party, with music, is being held at 13:00 on Thursday 8th May 2025 at The Salvation Army Hall in Sheppards Row, Exmouth, EX8 1PW.

To honour the 80th anniversary of VE Day The Exmouth Museum and Heritage Centre together with the Exmouth Salvation Army will be hosting a Fish and Chips luncheon. The street style party, with music, is being held at 13:00 on Thursday 8th May 2025 at The Salvation Army Hall in Sheppards Row, Exmouth, EX8 1PW.
With a whole programme of events taking place in Exmouth on 8th May this will be a great way to start the commemorations.
The price for a portion of Fish and Chips and a hot drink is £10,00 per person and this includes free entry to the Exmouth Museum, normally £2.50 per adult. Book to reserve a ticket by calling the museum on 01395 260339 or email at exmouthmuseum@gmail.com, or call into the museum, during opening hours (Mon-Thurs 10:00 to 16:00 and Sat 10:00 to 13:00)
If you have never been to the Museum here is your chance to learn about the history and heritage of Exmouth from our friendly stewards.
During the 2025 season, to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Battle of Britain there will be a number of model planes on display in our Cottage Gallery.
All profits raised will be divided between The Exmouth Museum and The Salvation Army so please come along and support these two very worthwhile charities. The Royal British Legion will also be represented and there will be a stall selling VE Day commemorative merchandise.
A big thank you to Withycome Fish Bar for suppling the fish and chips, unfortunately due to the nature of the event we cannot cater for any special dietary requirements.
