An hour of queer creativity, community, and performance. Hosted by the dynamic team behind Queer Out Loud, this event promises an eclectic mix of performances that showcase the vibrant talent within the LGBTQ+ community of Exeter, Plymouth, and the broader Southwest region.
About Queer Out Loud:
Since its inception in August 2022, Queer Out Loud has been a vital platform for queer artists in Plymouth, providing a space for diverse expressions of art, from poetry to burlesque, comedy, acoustic music, and more. Founded by Mimi Jones, a writer and Plymouth's Literature of Words laureate (2023-2024), and Jon Nash, a seasoned theatre director and writer, Queer Out Loud has become a beacon of queer joy and inclusivity.
Expect a vibrant mix of poets, acoustic musicians, and short scratch performances. Hosted by Jon Nash: with extensive experience and passion for the arts, Jon will guide the hour, ensuring it's an inclusive and welcoming space for all.
