Trees raise money for Exeter charity

An Exeter based charity has made more than five thousand pounds by collecting Christmas trees.

Hospiscare collected more than five hundred across the city.

Louise Beeken, their head of Fundraising, says with rising costs they are always looking for new ideas to raise the money needed to keep services going.

The unwanted trees were chipped and turned into compost.
