Ten special schools in Devon have formed a co-operative trust to help them work more closely together.
They say the arrangement will enable them to raise their standards still higher, and involve students, staff and parents more in the running of the schools.
The schools include Barley Lane, Ellen Tinkham and Southbrook in Exeter... Oaklands Park and Ratcliffe in Dawlish, and Mill Water in Honiton.
