Police in Devon are targeting drivers whose behaviour behind the wheel puts pedestrians at risk this week.
The force are taking part in an international road safety week which is focusing on pedestrians this year.
Police are visiting schools to make children more aware of the dangers of traffic.
But the roads policing unit are also making extra efforts to catch people who use mobiles while driving, and those whose speed is likely to cause accidents in locations used by pedestrians.
