It's in the wake of the death of PC Andrew Harper.
Police around the country are being supported by the public after the death of a serving officer last week.
28 year old PC Harper was killed last Thursday (15th August) after attending reports of a burglary in Berkshire.
People have being leaving cakes and flowers for their local forces, including in Exeter.
Sergeant Johnny Haynes who heads up a response team in Mid Devon and has been a police officer since 1995, tweeted this morning to say "faith in humanity restored", after someone left a box of chocolates on the front desk with a thank you card.
Faith in humanity restored. There's a lot to be said for a little random act of appreciation. #dc_police#exeter #ukcophumour pic.twitter.com/HAGniPdVse
