5 suspects make off
Five individuals attempted a commercial burglary at a storage container site in Newton Abbot.
Police were called to a West Golds Way in Newton Abbot at approximately 4 am on Tuesday 3 September after reports came in about a group of people trying doors.
Upon police arrival, the suspects rammed two police vehicles with a stolen white Ford Transit van before fleeing in a black Audi.
The van, believed to contain stolen items, was abandoned at the scene.
Two officers sustained minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information to help locate the suspects - phone 101.
