It happened near Morrisons in Exeter last night (Tuesday)
Officers are looking for witnesses after a man allegedly threw a fire bomb at a house.
It happened on Calthorpe Road, at around 10.30pm last night (Tuesday 9th July).
Officers were called with reports that a male had thrown a firebomb towards a property in the street, which had extinguished in mid-air and landed on a grass area.
The suspect was then said to have left the scene towards Beacon Heath, before getting onto a bicycle and heading in the direction of Whipton.
He is described as being a white male, around 6ft tall, of slim build and was wearing blue hoody, with the hood up, blue denim jean shorts and trainers.
