Police have helped to prevent houses from being flooded after a water main burst in South Devon
Officers from Kingsbridge and Totnes were called out to Tuckenhay. They found ten inches of water in the road and diverted the water away from properties by using sand bags. They also bailed out flood water.
South West water say the burst has now been repaired and supplies should have returned to normal in the area.
