    M5 reopens after earlier crash

A man's been airlifted to hospital

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed a man has been airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with serious hip and arm injuries after a crash on the M5 this morning (Tuesday 26th March).

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service says it sent 3 crews to the crash at J30. They say the van driver was "severely trapped" and the vehicles had to be separated using a winch.

The motorway has now fully reopened, but traffic is still busy on the A38 and A380, as well as the A30 westbound where traffic has been diverted. Marsh Barton and Bridge Road are also busy dealing with diverted traffic.
