    Exeter Uni study finds link between vitamin D deficiency and dementia

    People who enjoy sunbathing could have less chance of developing dementia and Alzheimer's.

    A team at the University of Exeter Medical School carried out a study on 1,658 elderly Americans and found that those who were severely Vitamin D deficient were more than twice as likely to develop dementia.

    Vitamin D comes from 3 main sources: sunlight, foods such as oily fish and supplements.
