The incident happened on New Sidmouth Road in Colyton
There is an appeal for witnesses after a crash in Colyton last week, which has left a cyclist with life-threatening injuries.
The man - in his 60s - remains in hospital following the incident on New Sidmouth Road just after 10am last Thursday morning [16 January].
A red Suzuki collided with a black Ford, and also hit the cyclist who was travelling the other way.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, had to rescue the man from a culvert beside the road.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen the collision but had left prior to police arrival.
